Hello!! Can you hear me?

A year that passed by working remotely and virtual meetings that ghosted us. Not quite literally, but constantly asking questions like ‘Are you there?’, ‘Can you hear us?’, ‘We can hear you, but can you see us?’, and yeah, you get the drill. ‘Are you there?’, ‘Can you hear us?’, ‘We can hear you, but can you see us?’, and yeah, you get the drill.

10 months back, none of us had any clue about normalising the hard-to-agree concept of Working From Home. Brainstorming, coordinating, meetings, from home? Really? Let’s just stop dreaming for once. But since the lockdown, we have found the best solutions to working remotely. Best one being, starting the day at your own pace with a piping hot cup of chai. No more running late to work, no more excuses to login late, no more missing trains/auto/busses. Wow! That was some start to the lockdown. Everything we always imagined to be impossible, was proved do-able from home.

Little do we know for how long is this much-loved phase going to last, but we know that we are going to miss attending the virtual meetings in formal shirts topped on a pyjama, eating all day long without being judged, working on our side hustle alongside work, and lastly, asking, “Hello! Can you hear me?”.
