The future of festivals in pandemic.

The COVID-19-triggered lockdown brought much of our social lives to a standstill, particularly our sources of recreation and entertainment outside our homes. Live events, entertainment festivals, and get-togethers have been a prominent part of our social and cultural lifestyles, and the idea of being able to do that again, still seems like a distant dream at hundred percent capacity. But thanks to technology, it saves us from meeting unwanted relatives.

Twenty-twenty has been a bitter-sweet year. We may not be able to dance on Sanedo beat vivaciously with that zeal, or take a flight to our favourite location during new year or have an appetizing street food, but we surely get to have home cooked food (or maa ke haath ka khanna) and celebrate #GharWaliDiwali with our loved ones.

Once again like our old innocent days, we all wish a jolly man in red with a black belt and white-beard arrives on christmas eve at our window and drops the vaccine in the christmas stocking and we wake up with joy and raise a toast to thank Lord for this bitter-sweet year.

We all may be socially distant but we are yet close. Digitalisation has equipped us well with technological advancement but yet keeps us bounded to our roots.

Life finds its own balance!

We may not have a perfect instagram picture/reel but we have the credit to spend real moments with our familia.

This pandemic has brought more calmness and simplicity in us and to be more grateful to God for protecting us from all the adversities. To feel a deep sense of gratitude for giving us a beautiful life and to be hopeful again for a better tomorrow!
