Eventually, everyone will be quarantined to their houses with no sports to watch, and in 9 months from now a boom of babies will be born. They will be known as ‘Cornonials.’ :P

We are just not dealing with COVID-19 pandemic, but also memes (like above) making fun about this lethal virus. Unfortunately, the world’s largest beer brand had to pay the price for sharing the same name. More than the virus, the corona beer memes were the first to onslaught the netizens.

In such testing times, our social media channels including WhatsApp ought to be helpful; it turned out to be full of hoaxes circulating irrelevant information and myths such as — the virus can be killed with the hand sanitisers having high percentages of alcohol. Another example was washing hands every 20 minutes.

Conversely, the biggest challenge globally was to implement the ‘work from home’ concept, especially in a developing nation like India. Such modern working concepts awareness is bleak and not acceptable by most of the companies. At one hand, we need the economic wheels churning, and on the other hand we have to accommodate this new environment mentally. I feel the most important point any global leader is not mentioning is to ‘Stay Calm, Stay Sane’, because that is the need of the hour rather than anything else. We have all seen videos circulated on social media about how people are thrashing each other for stocking the essential commodities.

To conclude, these are the times where we have to be utmost patient and diligently follow the steps laid down by the government. If we can’t go outside, go inside!
